OK - here we are at step two of my ultimate eight-step guide to healthy living.

If you didn't read the first step, here it is: Your ultimate guide to healthy living. Step #1: taking stock

So, how is your health looking?

If you know that you have chronic health problems (heart disease, diabetes, depression, arthritis or other conditions) treatment is a clear priority for healthy living.

Addressing these issues typically isn't a do-it-yourself task. Continue to work with your doctor or healthcare professional to manage or eliminate the following conditions:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Arthritis
  • Cancer
  • Heart disease
  • Diabetes

The same goes for risky behaviours such as smoking or addictions of any kind. True health means being free of heavy emotional burdens that addictions foster, so these must also be addressed and managed as part of your healthy living strategy:

  • Smoking
  • Drinking
  • Drugs
  • Gambling

Pick up the phone and make the call to schedule that appointment and address your health issues and start living a healthier life today!

Look forward to Healthy Living Step #3: Move more!
